I'd love some help. I don't understand the difference between 'I will' and 'I'm going to', which is very frustrating because I have a test about this Tuesday. I was ill last week, so I missed the explanation.

I will is a present tense. Eg. I will stop talking on Q and actually prep for NaNo

I'm going to is more of a future tense, e.g. I'm going to the cinema in November to watch the Dr Who 50th Anniversary

But you can also write: "I will go to the cinema" or "I am going to stop talking on Quizlet". Right? I can't see the difference. :')
