    Wanneer Jason zijn broer verliest aan zelfmoord is Jason nog jong, thuis gaat het daarna bergaf. Hij moet niet alleen het verlies van zijn broer verwerken, maar ook het verlies van zijn ouders. Want die zijn niet vaak meer thuis, en wanneer ze thuis zijn roepen ze of zijn ze dronken.
    Jason groeit niet al te gelukkig op en kan het verlies van zijn broer nooit echt verwerken. Als hij twaalf jaar wordt zweert hij wraak op zijn broers graf. Hij zal de pesters die zijn broer de dood in hebben gejaagd terugpakken, en hard ook.
