Engels verhaal - Stories promoten

No one knew where she was. She just wasn’t home, nor was she at her friend’s house. She just vanished from Earth, or so it seemed. Her parents called the police, but she wasn’t missing long enough. It had to be 48 hours. After that time, the police would do something useful. To the parents, it felt like they didn’t want to do anything, they felt like the law let their only child die, without even trying to find her. She could be dead.
