The list includes Tim Burton, Sam Raimi, Alfonso Cuaron, Shawn Levy, Chris Weitz and original Pirates director Gore Verbinski. Gore Verbinski and Tim Burton are Disney's top choices as they have both worked with Disney and Johnny Depp on numerous occasions.
