Het gaat over homo's en hoe ze niet geaccepteerd worden door het geloof. Wacht, ik zoek het even op
EDIT: Dit heb ik even van GagaDaily gehaald:
I liked it. And after thinking about the video very critically, I think I understand it, too. But I’ve seen many different interpretations of the video around the net and that’s what makes this video even better; it has more than one meaning, depending on who you are. To me, she was comparing gay people to the army because it’s like they’re at war with society who thinks being gay is wrong. Since gay people are so often told they’re wrong for being gay, they began to make love to Gaga since society told them that guy on guy is wrong. But Gaga’s telling them like “Don’t call my name” and “I’m not your babe”. Basically, she was telling them “If you’re gay, stay gay and don’t try to fall in love with me just because society is telling you to”. She was telling them she’s not their lover. Then, with the whole religion thing near the end, I think what was happening was Gaga (being the red nun) represented religion and the gay people were pushing her because society is saying they’re going against religion and being Satanic and wrong. So, they’re being forced to fight with religion when, in fact (as seen later on when they begin embracing nun Gaga), they ARE religious people and embrace religion. That’s what I got from the video, anyway. And by the way, if you don’t like it, then you probably don’t understand it. People aren’t viewing the video critically, instead upon seeing crosses and gay people thinking it’s Satanic and all that. People seriously need to open up their minds and stop being so narrow minded.

Een hele lap tekst om te lezen, maar wel interessant. (:
EDITEDIT: En by the way, dit is over de muziekvideo. Het liedje zelf staat natuurlijk open voor eigen interpretatie.
