Na Maleficent en Cinderella is het de beurt aan Beauty and the Beast om een live action versie te krijgen, vindt Disney. Wanneer de film zal uitkomen, is nog niet bekend, maar ik begon wel te fangirlen toen ik het volgende bericht op de pagina van Emma Watson las:
I'm finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'. My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it. Emma xx
Ik had her en der al wel geruchten gehoord dat ze in aanmerking kwam voor de rol, maar ik ben eigenlijk echt wel blij dat ze het geworden is. Ik ben benieuwd naar haar prestaties
De film zal trouwens geregisseerd worden door Stephen Chbosky, die eerder al met Emma samenwerkte tijdens The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
But I still have this faith in the truth of my dreams.
