In Unbelievable, Hanna can't remember who it is, until the end of the book when Spencer is in the car with Mona Vanderwaal, because Spencer thought she knew who killed Alison. Spencer gets a text while she is in the car from Hanna telling her that she needs to get out of the car because Hanna remembered that Mona is A.

    Mona finds out that Spencer knows and offers to Spencer to be A with her and pretend that Hanna is wrong, but Spencer rejects it. Then Mona decided she had to kill Spencer to keep A's identity safe, and Mona ends up falling, only killing herself. You know what they say, "you are your own worst enemy" and in this case, Mona is.

    In the Fifth and Sixth Book, ( 5 : Wicked, 6 : Killer. ) upon comes a new " A " and this A seems to be somewhat on the girls' side, hinting them with clues on who really killed Ali. But If you make assumptions, this book will prove them wrong, being there has already been so many shocks and surprises to readers.

    A is Ali she never really died, it was her twin sister Courtney that died because Ali killed her, and Courtney and Ali switched places on the night everyone thought that Ali died, when it was really Courtney all along.
