A Summer Dream

Finally it became summer
The smell of grass and nature
The sound of insects, humming around our heads
The sun shining bright in a beautiful light blue sky
And there I was laying, on my back in the grass
Next to someone that meant the world to me
I closed my eyes and smiled
Then I turned over and looked at John
I shuffled closer to him, he smiled and started kissing me, I kissed him back
One hand against my cheek, the other trying to find one of my hands
Then we both let go
'I love you' he said, he looked into my eyes and smiled
And that's when I knew I found my reason to live
'I love you too' I said, and I hugged him so tight, I didn't want to let him go, ever
This was the perfect summer
