En Loveless valt níet onder Yaoi. In yaoi komt er ook seks in voor. Loveless behoord in mijn ogen tot: Shounen-Ai. De mildere vorm van yaoi. Shounen-Ai is meer de verlegen jongens die je enkel af en toe eens een keer zoenen.
