    Liefde is voor altijd. Althans, dat is wat Edward zijn grote liefde vertelde toen zij erachter kwam dat hij een vampier was. Maar voor haar was dat blijkbaar niet zo, toen ze wegging bij hem. Zij groeit op en bouwt een leven op maar Edward blijft alleen, totdat hij haar vijftien jaar oude dochter [..] ontmoet die in hetzelfde dorp komt te wonen bij haar grootouders. Kan hij haar weerstaan, of valt hij voor haar net zo hard als hij voor haar moeder deed?
