And then Person B is a waitron there and they notice A has been there for awhile and look increasingly sad. Person B then proceeds to give A a brownie and some hot cocoa to warm their heart and put some sweetness back into A’s smile.

Person A is out with friends and they become a bit tipsy. They have their own little party at their table in a bar with a little Truth or Dare. Then person B enters the bar, just when person A has to do a dare.
B happens to be the most popular and handsome person in the school/neighborhood/town.
A gets dared to flirt with B and to ask them on a date. Drunk with booze and the given confidence, A goes for it and starts flirting.
How the dare goes you may decide, but A ends up giving their phone number/email/address.
Next morning A has a huge hangover and can’t remember anything. Then A gets a message from B or B suddenly shows up on their doorstep, telling them they enjoyed the flirting and asking when their first date will be.

How A reacts and what will come next is up to you.

Bonus: A already has a crush on B, but always thought they’d never had a chance with B, cause B is so popular and A is not and/or A thinks they’re not good or smart or attractive enough to actually be with B.
