I L L N E S S
Lukas has nightmares and very realistic hallucinations, caused by a severe form of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Due happenings in the past - everytime Lukas sees a human, this human turns into a moving image of a monster. This causes Lukas to be very afraid of humans also. Now he is twenty-two, the seeing humans-as-monters thing got so out of hand he is convinced they want to kill him. In order to prevent them from killing him - he fights back, which caused multiple other patients to be already injured by his actions. Since Lukas lives in constant fear he does not rest. In the daytime he deals with the hallucinations, at night he's haunted with the nightmares. The nightmares are usually about the people he has seen at day, but then in a more horrid way.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
ABSENTMINDED
Lukas is very easily distracted - and usually with his thoughts somewhere totally else than the rest of his body is. Him being absentminded is combined with his infinite imagination, that often is the cause for him to be distracted. It is hard for Lukas to keep his mind focused on the stuff or people he should actually focus on - next to that, he is also very bad at listening to people.
FORGIVING
Lukas used to be (and somewhere deep down still is) a forgiving person. He kept forgiving his father for what he did to him, nonetheless the consequences that came with it. However, at this moment he is not as forgiving as he used to be anymore.
IDIOSYNCRATIC
Lukas is an idiosyncratic person - he lives in his own crazy world, where his fears and creatures comes alive.
IMAGINATIVE
Referring to his idiosyncrasy - Lukas is very imaginative. Due his infinite imagination his brain allows him to see humans as varied horrifying monsters and other dark creatures. He can create the most horrifying scenarios in his brain, often coming alive in his nightmares.
UNPREDICTABLE
Lukas is a very unpredictable person. It is hard to figure out how he is going to respond or when he is. Since Lukas is not much of a talker - the moments when he actually speak can be very random and unexpected. The things he does are mostly completely out of the blue.
QUIET
Lukas is not much of a talker. He doesnt like talking to people since he is afraid everything that comes out of his mouth will come back at him. He usually stays away from all spots where humans are, first off because he is afraid of them and secondly because he is afraid to talk to them.

Lukas is an ordinary looking guy - there is nothing too special about him. It looks like he is fragily build, because he is not too muscular and pretty tall. He has boring dark brown eyes and dark brown, short hair. Lukas has a small face that often wears a sad grimace. Lukas is not the kind of person that cares much about his hygiene - causing him to often have greasy hair or dirty nails. Lukas clothing style can be described as plain and boring, mostly because he did not had too much to choose from when he grew up.
H I S T O R Y
Lukas is born in the capital of Michigan, Lansing. He is born in a small family, two parents and two sons. Lukas comes from a family that is not exactly rich, but definitely not poor either. They can afford the necessary stuff and here and there some luxury.
From the moment Lukas was born, it was more than clear that Lukas older brother was the favourite. Atleast daddys favourite. This caused Lukas to be more of a pathetic little mommys boy - according to the father. From young age Lukas had to deal with a father that disliked him and a brother who was better than him in every way. When they got older, the way the father treated Lukas got worse. While the older brother seemed to be good in everything he did, Lukas struggled with a lot. To his fathers anger, who expected Lukas to be the same as his brother. The anger caused the father to hurt his son, with either words or physically. The older Lukas became, the more frequently it happened and the worse it got.
The nightmares started at a young age and they where mostly about his father and the fear of doing something wrong in his eyes. The actual hallucinations started when he was around twelve/thirteen - and to this day he still cant explain how it began and why exactly it started at that age. His father despised him more and more, because a lunatic in the family did no good to the overall image. It is no secret that his father was very relieved he was put away in an asylum. He was finally rid of the failure called his son.
Lukas has been transferred between asylums for about six years now. In every asylum he has been so far, he has made victims - due the constant feeling of being under threat. It started with small injuries, but in the last sanitarium he had been in, he almost killed someone. It ended with him transferred to the Trans-Allegheny Asylum, where he likely will spend most of his life.
