Hier een gedicht dat ik al vrij lang geleden heb geschreven maar wat ik nooit op Quizlet durfde te zetten.

Shields.

I never really had friends,
I never said goodbye.
I never had a happy end,
My smile was just a lie.

Deep inside me, deep inside me,
I live the life I didn't live.
Deep inside me, deep inside me,
Lays the love I never got to give.

I never really felt love,
More rather I felt pain.
Now you flew away my dove,
I'll probably turn the other way.

Deep inside me, from behind me,
Walks a ghost only I can see.
Deep inside me, deep inside me,
I just wanted to be.

Now tell me how will I suffice,
Tell me how to live a lie.
Tell me how to gain your love,
Just... tell me why...
