The new student is a werewolf and the leading wolf pack in town isn't happy about it. A smaller pack led by Chris Knight, however, is willing to let him in.
But there are more pressing worries than the constant tension of establishing ranks and the hostility between werewolves and vampires.
Humans are quickly gaining power over immortals and repression is becoming a fact. Is a war between mortals and immortals inevitable?
