I move my fingers a few times. I can´t believe the gypsum is finally off. I look at the little wounds on my knuckles which are almost healed. As I see the red spots I remember the feeling of pain and my mind goes crazy. You probably saw how my smile suddenly surrendered and made place for manipulation, ´cause you run to me and grab my arms. You pull me in an embrace and place a kiss in my neck. "Hey, it's okay," you say softly. You give me another kiss in the neck. "I'm with you." Your words seem to work because the voices start to shush. "Thank you," I whisper softly.
As we walk in by Lindsey, she looks surprised 'cause you're with me. I smile polite at her. "Lindsey, is it okay if Liam practises with me? He really likes gymnastic and I wanted to show him that we're not doing the usual exercises."
Lindsey hesitates for the moment. "Ehh.. actually gym is not on my planning of today, Niall. We only do exercises on wednesday. It's also so you stay fit, but we need to do the normal session as well, you know..."
"Oh.." Helpless I stare at you for a second. "That's okay." My face spoke volumes. I really baled of it.
"But if you want to, we can do a few exercises to warm up," she says when she sees my face.
I smile friendly at her. "I'd love to."
"Not too long then, Niall. We need to do the rest of the session too. Do you want Liam to stay then, because we're gonna do some bothersome, unpleasant things for today." Lindsey looks through her papers. "We'll start with a physological test which is not that worse but after that I'm gonna play a little with your mind..." She looks up at me.
"I don't mind if he stays, it's his choice."
I feel you moving restless to the left and right. I open my eyes, as if I wasn´t awake yet. I stroke your cheek and hope you´ll calm down a little. "Shhh, it's okay. I'm here. Near you."
You mumble something and turn around for the umpteenth time.
"Hey." I keep soothing and stroking your cheek.
"No. Don..."
I turn on my side and lie my forehead against yours. You open your eyes and your beautiful eyes meet mine. You kiss my chin and a bomb of butterflies explodes in my belly. I smile softly at you. You lay your head on my chest and mumble: "I love you."
"I love you too," I whisper, and sigh blissful. I close my eyes again and hope that I'll fall asleep this time, 'cause as usual, this was one of my sleepless nights again. But of course from the moment I start to forget your presence, the voices have to bother me. I listen to them for a few minutes, and then I open my eyes again to look at you. 'cause that's the only thinkg what can calm me down.
