Melanie has been feeling alone ever since the beginning of the apocalypse. Her problem? She trusts to easy. She’s naïve and weak and that could get her killed someday. Contrary to Alex, who refuses to trust anyone. He kills everybody who crosses his road. Melanie doesn’t really know anything about him. But him protecting her is reason enough for her to trust him. He often just leaves her alone, but he always comes back in the end. Keeping her save is his first priority, finding her brother who might be still out there his second. Alex himself only talks when he thinks it’s necessary. He might be dangerous sometimes, especially when he’s drunk. But after all Melanie wouldn’t know what to do without him.
