    When I wake up
    The first thing that I do
    Is my make-up
    So they don't have a clue

    I put on my smile
    Add some lies to it
    So I can pretend for a while
    That life is where I fit

    I use my favorite song
    To charge my mask
    So I can pretend I'm strong
    Like I can do everything they ask

    They don't know I hide
    The tears that I lost last night
    Caused by the demons inside
    To which I keep losing the fight
