    Hoi!
    Ik doe mee aan NaNoWriMo en nu leek het me wel handig om de beginpost ook in het Engels te hebben op de site. Het probleem is nu dat mijn Engelse grammatica niet al te best meer is en het dan stik vol fouten komt te staan. Dus, zou iemand dit kunnen vertalen naar het Engels?

    Sinds de twintigjarige Joanna samen met haar vriend Mark in een gerenoveerd huis samenwoont, is ze nachtenlang wakker. Ze kan de slaap niet meer vatten door de hallucinaties die ze heeft en haar vriend verklaart haar voor gek. Hij wil haar niet geloven en denkt dat ze het verzint om weer terug te verhuizen naar hun oude dorp. Joanna gaat vastberaden op onderzoek uit. Waar komt het meisje vandaan? Wie is het meisje dat ze telkens ziet en wat voor rol heeft Joanna in het complot?

    Ever since the twenty year-old Joanna has moved into a renovated house with her boyfriend Mark, she has been unable to sleep at night. She's simply unable to fall asleep, caused by hallucinations, and her boyfriend thinks she has gone mad. He doesn't want to believe her and thinks she just made it up so they would move back to their old place. Joanne, determined, goes looking for answers herself. Where does the girl come from? Who is that girl she keeps seeing and what is Joanna's own part in the complot?

    Al is complot een vrij formeel woord, en kan je evengoed gewoon voor 'story' gaan ^^
