  The year is 2380. The world has been mostly destroyed by a massive nuclear bomb released by the American's to end WWV, and to prevent other wars.
  Only Europe remains, but is now known as Iihiran, and not the way it appeared before. Most of the cities, like in the rest of the world, are in ruins, and the majority of the population have died. The survivors all suffer from radiation sickness.
  But from the ashes and ruins, grew a new, Golden Age for humankind. In 2300, twenty years after the bomb, scientists and doctors worked together to create and perfect a surgery that completely overhauled a person, and turned them all into the same ideal of beautiful with no physical flaws, and with a perfect immune system. But the surgery has a darker side, that no-one knows about in the Cities. It creates little scars on the brains of those operated on, making them very docile and obedient. Slaves, basically, of what the Authorities want. This is heightened by the fact all the different social groups are kept separated into towns, cutting down interactions between them.
  But outside of the Cities, out where the soil is still contaminated, there is another community. The 'Croppies' (as they're known) live as 'Rusties'. This means that they grow or kill their own food, make their own clothes and build their own homes. They believe that the world order had been contaminated, and are trying to convince young Teenies to join them instead. They want to over-throw the Cities and return the Earth to its former glory.

  
  
  Social Age Groups
  Tinies
  

  Tinies are children under 12 years old. They live in Zurburbia with their parents, and go to primary school. The September of their 12th birthday, they're taken to Valhedge.

  
  Teenies
  

  Teenies are between 12 and 16 years old. They live in Valhedge and attend senior school. They have wardens, but are mostly left alone. Their town is on the island where England used to be, and can only be reached from the mainland by the smart bridges.
  When a child turns 12, they are considered 'Ugly' due to the hormones and changes that occur during puberty. Although the Teenies are closely monitored by the authorities, they are mostly left alone to do whatever they like. This is to encourage their creativity, and to help the authorities decide what kind of job the Teenie would suit after their second operation, and what talent they'll receive during their first.
  Teenies are usually encouraged to use nicknames for each other based off their physical imperfections e.g Squint, Fatty, Nose, Four-Eyes. They're also encouraged to use software engineered especially to generate images that reflect how they want to look after their operation. Both of these techniques were used to keep the Teenies mind on their operation, and how perfect things will be afterwards.

  
  Utopiers
  

  Utopiers are aged between 16 and 30, and live in Capitolia, where all they have to do all day is have a damned good time. It's a chance for them to develop vast social networks, and to practise their talents ready for when they get a job after their second operation. They're very shallow and ditzy, and speak a little different to most people. They have a dialect called 'pretty-speak' e.g something that makes them happy is called 'happy-making' or 'dizzy-making', and something that's exciting is 'bubbly'. They like to try new things, but only for as long as it's interesting.

  
  Faders
  

  Faders are between 30 years old and 50. They are the working class, and live in Zurburbia. They work, socialise, fall in love, marry and have children – although they can only have one child by per years. This is to prevent sibling bonds, and to prevent the city's population getting too high. They have a minor cosmetic surgery to give them a few, light lines and a few silver hairs, tastefully arranged in their hair. This surgery was designed to install a sense of trust and safety in the younger generations. If the Faders enter into a job that requires quick thinking or creativity, then a few of the lesions on their brains caused by the first surgery are removed.

  
  Tarders
  

  Tarders are above 50 years old. They can live for between 150 and 200 years, with the help of life expanding surgeries. They have a few light, cosmetic surgery's to keep them looking beautiful as they age.

  
  
  Others
  Troopers
  

  Troopers are the police force, but they're not out and about like police now-a-days. They stay in their headquarters, or are patrolling the outside of the Cities to try and locate the Croppies. They used to be Utopiers, but when they went for their second operation, they were given a different surgery. This new surgery makes them a sort of 'cruel-pretty' – they have large, wolfish eyes, very sharp teeth and pointed teeth. They're taller then the other social groups, and move a lot faster and more gracefully. The surgery also gives them enhanced senses and incredible reflexes, the ability to feel vibrations in their hands, bones that are light as bamboo but strong as diamonds, and a skintenna (an antenna implanted in their spines so they can see/hear what others can.)

  
  Croppies
  

  Croppies are nomads, travelling around the wilderness. They live as 'Rusties', and worship the old Gods. They don't receive any surgery, therefore know things that the others do not, such as the lesions in the Utopier's brains. They believe that if they can get enough Teenies to join them, they can overthrow the authorities and return the World to how it used to be.
  Due to the fact they grow crops in contaminated soil, the Croppies have mutated. Some of the mutations are visible – unusual eye or hair colours, extra long and sharp teeth or nails, or having different coloured patches of skin. Other mutations are not visible – ability to speak to one species of animal, basic control over one element (not spirit), extra speed.

  
  Rusties
  

  Rusties are people that lived before the 23rd Century. They are considered to be savages and barbarians due to their never-ending wars and battles, and corrupted societies.

  This RPG follows a small group of Teenies, with a few Croppies and Utopiers, as they try to find their feet in the fast-changing world.
