  Also I guess dat als persoon hier die irritant veel heeft moeten analyseren etc van Heart of Darkness / Apocalypse Now ik de enige ben die flashbacks daarnaar had bij 'Exterminate them all' lol (Exterminate ALL the brutes!) but I mean it sort of works :') Lalala something something kolonialisme lala something something racism lalala Ketch the mindless attack dog etc etc.
  
  En Mick de Cas parallel was zo obvious I could cry. Ik hoop dat deze show me niet te lui maakt voor mijn studie because they are so obvious. Oh wel *shrug emoji* Alles is beter dan de Ghostfacers in #thinman :'))))))
  
  (HAH mijn moeder zag ook direct waarom ik het hoorns-shot gescreenshot had. I mean OBVIOUS, I know, maar toch. Weet zij veel hoe defensive fans worden op tumblr door die irritante 'you are reading into things' people)

  Grappig hoe een aflevering tegelijkertijd super interessant kan zijn & also WTF. I liked it from a non-plotholey viewpoint, though :')
  Hoewel Lizzy altijd belachelijk goed is in dingen logisch uitwerken in haar antwoorden....
  
  Weirdness of street urchin backstory aside, it sounds like the BMoL were reaching out for more than the usual legacy students… I could imagine the legacies and the recruits were two separate classes, and their numbers were being inflated with new members, and maybe then they make those ones whose lives are cheap be the ones to fight, but the legacies are exempt, as if family has already proven their loyalty to the BMoL… Like, some new measure with the expendable students to make sure that these investments were worth it.

  oh god ik had een Revelation(TM) gisteravond (en met 'avond' bedoel ik ' 's nachts terwijl ik probeerde te slapen, wtf brein').
  
  So the Ketch + Lucifer visual parallel was een ding, maar consider:
  
  KETCH & DEMON DEAN.
  
  I MEAN
  
  IT WAS PRACTICALLY THE SAME SCENE.

  The girl was even called Ann-Mary (Mary-Ann?? idk) en het was SUPER obvious at the time dat ze op Mary moest lijken (because mommy issues) like

  Dan moet ik zelf maar screenshots maken at some point but anyway: the naked guy still in bed. (Ann)Mary getting dressed. Having a talk about what it means. Guy reveals how creepy & terrible he is. IT LOOKED SO SIMILAR.
  
  Coincidence? Not when Ketch himself literally paralleled himself to Dean while everyone was screaming at their screen like: 'NO YOU ARE LIKE DEMON DEAN MAYBE, NOT NORMAL DEAN. NOT THE WHOLE DEAN. HE'S NOT A PSYCHOPATH LIKE YOU'.
  
  When u parallel ur character to A) the literal Devil, B ) the Darkest version of your main character, AND arguably C) a hell hound, you are not being subtle.
  
  But still.
