Haha, yeah! Ik vind het altijd leuk om mensen al die dingen te mogen vertellen
1 decennium geledenAhh, ik ga meer voor zwaarden met een mooi uiterlijk. En zoals je onderhand al weet ben ik gewoon weg van elvenzwaarden, doordat ze er zo mooi uitzien.
Nope, dat sowieso niet. In het engels betekend het throng-cleaver, dus in het nederlands iets in de trant van menigte kliever.
Maar Arwen betekend wel vrouwe. En op het zwaard staat in het tengwar een tekst. Het einde is an i Arwen, wat toch aangeeft dat het zwaard voor Arwen is, ondanks dat het voor Idril gemaakt is. Dat laatste was me zelf wel opgevallen, maar weer aangevuld met internet info

Haha, die zijn ook best awesome. Al ga ik denk ik eerder voor Glamdring en Orcrist en als Thranduils zwaard ook verkocht gaat worden, die ^^ Ik heb een enorme zwak voor elvenzwaarden. Anduril en Sting vind ik toch wat minder, vergeleken met die zwaarden ^^ Maar Hadhafang blijft de ultieme favoriet van mij :')
1 decennium geledenSlim idee ^^ Ik heb ook niet bijzonder veel ruimte. Ik moet ze nog ergens zien op te hangen of aan een standaard zien te komen, zodat ik ze op zo'n kastje kan plaatsen.
Hadhafang was oorspronkelijk het zwaard van Idril. Daarna is het via Ëarendil doorgegeven aan Elrond, die ook met dat zwaard tijdens the last alliance vocht. Hij heeft het weer doorgegeven aan Arwen, gezien hij geloof ik had besloten niet meer het gevecht te betreden en zij het zwaard nodig had om Frodo te redden.
Forgive me, ik weet te veel en voor de zekerheid check ik dan toch ook nog wat dingen.
