19e eeuws Amerika. - Lectuur en literatuur

Hoi,
weet iemand misschien een leuk boek dat zich afspeelt in de 19e eeuw(het begin) in Amerika.
Ik zoek eigenlijk zo iets als "Gangs of New York".
Sinds ik die film heb gezien ben ik geïnteresseerd in het leven van de Gangs en het leven in het begin van de 19e eeuwse Amerika.
