Pyotr despises their ease with the world. Emrys obvi • The faithful advisor, high in the Faith of the Seven, and suspicious of Pyotr’s dark past. They seek to expose or ruin him. • The court snake, a rival manipulator at court. • The former ally, someone who helped him once, but things fell apart. Now there’s resentment, betrayal, and unspoken history. • The one who remembers too much, maybe a sibling, former lover, or childhood rival.
