Bucky had raised his fist, ready to strike, when Steve decided to say one last thing: “Cause I’m with you ‘til the end of the line.” That sentence had caused Bucky to stop dead in his tracks. He’d blinked a couple of times before looking deeply into Steve’s eyes. Something had made a vague connection in his brain.
