My classmates, I think you all know about what I’m going to talk about. I say to you today, my fellow pupils: I see a future where we are free. A future where we can do whatever we want, whenever we want, in good circumstances.
Our parents put us in this institute at the age of three, sometimes we’re not even that old. They let us go, many droplets were spilled. Okay. Some of us maybe liked it, but the fun couldn’t last. The government forces us to go to school at the age of seven. Then, it’s no fun anymore: less playing and learning, learning, learning,… When we’re going to be eighteen, we don’t have to go to school anymore. They can’t force us. But what can we do? We’ll have nothing at that age. We’ll have a degree, but we can’t do a thing with it! So we’ll have to continue taking classes. We’re trapped in school.
They say these days are the best of our lives. And you’re listening to me… Listening to my speech that I had to make for him (points at teacher). Tonight, we will go home. What will we do? Making Math exercises or learning for the exams who won’t approach in a month.
This is the time when we should enjoy our leisure and this beautiful weather. But we are sitting here in a stinky classroom where we have too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. The principal is too greedy to heat other building than his own. The teachers expect us to know everything. Not only the subjects we learn in school, but also all history and all actuality.
Ask not what they teach us, but what we can do with these lessons in our future and why they teach us this. We’ll become just like them. Forcing our children in school. Do we want to do this to our children? Forcing them to give up half of their spare time to learn? We’ll screw up their youth! And you know: your youth is a precious thing.
This is our youth. Without school, we could do whatever, whenever we want. School is like jail: we’re trapped. But when we get out, we won’t be free: we will still have to deal with some consequences. We have to stand up, raise our voices and get out of this institude!
