Story: Daughter Of The Mountain ~ The Hobbit

Aegliriëll is a young elfwoman, whose life has passed by quietly deep in the woods of Lórien.
She has no family, but a domestic griffin named Shyla, the last one of her kind. Aegliriëll made it her task, after the discovery of her griffon, to find endangered species, and save them from all evil. She brings each one of them to the closest elven kingdom and takes care of them the best she can. So the young woman has found a home, in both Lórien and Rivendell.
However, Aegliriëll never really felt at home with the elves. She was different and she knew it.

If one day a group of Dwarves invade Rivendell, her curiosity takes over her mind. After hearing about all the complains about the Dwarfs from the Elves, she is eager to find out whether these people are really as terrible as they presume.
She meets the leader of the group, Thorin Oakenshield, a rather grumpy and stubborn man who doesn't want to have anything to do with elves.
As soon as the groups threatens to leave, she offers herself to join them in their adventure, to hopefully strengthen the group. Thorin does not allow her, for he thinks she will only cause trouble, but thanks to the continuous nagging of the stubborn elf she nevertheless maneged to accompany the group into their adventure.
