I am so tired
Of making the wrong choice.
And I am so tired
Of fixing my mistakes.
As it takes time to heal
My years slowly
Slip away,
As if they were never there.

Just another
Dark day.
Fighting to get air,
But sinking to places
Deeper than I was before.

I am so tired
Of trying to fly
Like I did years ago.
And I am so tired
Of seeing the sky,
Knowing that I can’t
Go out and fly
Like I did before.
