THE LANDS OF FADRAL
Fadral was the first continent created by the Founding Gods. Over time, the rest of the Earth grew from it.

Adrana is a rugged, expansive land marked by rolling hills, dense forests, and broad plains in the center of Fadral. Known as the "Realm of Bold Paths," it’s a place where communities thrive around central keeps, bustling towns, and strongholds. Ancient stone roads crisscross Adrana, built to unite the realm and symbolize the Anthropes’ dedication to unity and progress. This land reflects the dynamic and determined nature of its people, with many towns springing up almost overnight as the Anthropes venture into new territories with boundless energy. The proud capital of Vaeloris is a city of fortifications and impressive keeps, designed with bold architecture that reflects the Anthropes’ courage and direct approach to life. Vaeloris, meaning “Heart of Valor,” stands as a testament to Sovren’s legacy, with bustling markets and lively forums where decisive action is celebrated. |

Lirithal is a land of timeless beauty, draped in mist-laden forests, shimmering lakes, and ancient groves that seem to blend seamlessly with the heavens. It lies in the north of Fadral. Known as the "Veiled Glade," it’s a realm where the cycles of nature used to be celebrated with reverence, and the land itself is sacred to the Celestials. Tall silver-barked trees rise above dense forest floors, creating a natural canopy that filters moonlight through their leaves, which the Celestials believe Lunira herself blesses. Lirithal is dotted with serene temples, ancient stones, and tree villages, honoring the Celestials’ heritage of artistry and natural harmony. In the last centuries, Lirithal has been almost completely taken over by Anthropes, and Celestials have seen their heritage burn - just like their capital, Elanthir. Nestled within ancient trees and silver-lit glades, Elanthir was a city of timeless elegance and ethereal beauty. Its name, which means “Echo of the Stars,” captured the Celestials' connection to nature and the heavens. Buildings here blended seamlessly with the surrounding woods, forming a sanctuary for art, music, and meditation that honored Lunira’s harmony. Now, it has been reduced to nothing more but a military encampment. Many of the trees have been cut down to provide building materials. |

Kaelmoor, the "Heartland of Warmth," used to be a vibrant region with gentle, grassy hills, lush farmland, and cozy hamlets nestled close to one another. It lies in the east of Fadral Though it is now under Adrana's rule, many Little Folk communities have tried emulating the feeling of what Kaelmoor used to look like, in new places. Stone cottages and small towns bustle with activity, from farmers markets to lively inns where stories and songs are shared. Life in Little Folk communities is centered around family, community, and tradition. The Little Folk have a deep connection to the communal land, and every home is built with Kaelen’s blessings for warmth and comfort, making the communities places of constant festivity and camaraderie. Kaelmoor's capital, Thistledown, though mostly overtaken by Anthropes, is still a cozy, cheerful town set amid Kaelmoor’s rolling hills and fertile farmlands. Known for its hearty food and warm atmosphere, Thistledown (named for the light, feathery seeds that grow abundantly nearby) is a place where the Little Folk still celebrate life’s simple pleasures. Festivals, markets, and feasts fill the streets, embodying Kaelen’s values of community and joy. |

Umberveil is a shadowed land where mystery and beauty coexist, with towering mountains, hidden valleys, and dark forests often veiled in mist. It lies in the south of Fadral. Known as the "Realm of Shadows," it used to be a place that celebrates mystery, resilience, and the pursuit of hidden knowledge. Here, quiet villages were built into cliffsides and ancient caves, and there are secret shrines to Umbrith where the Primordials seek wisdom in solitude. The people of Umberveil had a reputation for their strength and endurance, living in harmony with a land that encourages introspection and discovery amid the shadows. Now, Umberveil is desolate and lonely, its people driven from their homes when Adrana took over rule and installed its military outposts. Though, Adrana has never fully succeeded at banishing Magic from Umberveil. Not many Anthropes have come to live in the dark lands precisely because of this reason. Shrouded in mist and mystery, the capital city of Vheradon (meaning “Veil of Secrets”) used to be a hidden, almost otherworldly city that exudes an aura of strength and shadowed wisdom. Built into the cliffs and stone of the dark mountains, Vheradon was a place of introspection and quiet resilience, mirroring the Primordials’ reverence for Umbrith’s teachings of inner power. With the introduction of the Anti-Magic Law outside of Adrana, Vheradon literally collapsed. It is a mystery what happened to the people living there. |

Aethirra, known as the "Primal Expanse," is a land of dramatic landscapes that shift from volcanic peaks to vast deserts, windswept plains, and churning rivers. It is situated in the west of Fadral. Elemental forces are constantly at play here, creating a place that is both awe-inspiring and unpredictable, which made it a hard area for the Adraneans to conquer. Some Elementals still live scattered across Aethirra, often in nomadic tribes that respect and harness the natural elements surrounding them. Temples and shrines to Aetheris were placed in sites of elemental power—volcano rims, riverbanks, and mountain peaks—where the Elementals used to seek guidance and strength. Most of these have been reduced to rubble. The capital city of Zyryph is an elemental marvel, a city built atop an elevated plateau where turbulent winds, molten lava flows, and crystalline waters meet. The name Zyryph suggests “Convergence of Storms,” symbolizing the Elemetal's embrace of Aetheris’s raw elemental power. The city is a breathtaking mix of natural forces and architecture adapted to survive and harness the energy of Aethirra’s landscape. Oddly enough, when the Adraneans took over the city, there was little they changed about its surroundings. Though they claim it is because they want to show how they can keep Magic at bay by occupying the space and building out a big Anthrope community, many people suspect the lands simply don't want to be tamed. |
