RACES AND THEIR PATRONS

The humanoid races of this Earth were created by the Founding Gods and are Their descendants. Each of the races has the potential to be a Magician, though some cultures are better attuned to it than others. Even though the races used to be confined to a single Motherland, since the expansion of the Earth, they have migrated far and wide. All races are found in all lands of Fadral.

Anthropes are generally descendants of Sovralis, God of Fate and Valor. They look like any normal human being in our world does, though they live a great deal longer - up to 150 to 200 years of age. They are the biggest race on this Earth and generally rule it because of their number. They have long lost their affinity to Magic and are against it.
The patron God of the Anthropes is Sovren, God of Valor, Leadership and Fate. His domains include courage, swift decisions and guiding destiny.
Sovren, the Bold Hand, is the god of valor and decisive action, inspiring his followers to seize opportunity and act with conviction. Known for his unyielding drive, Sovren represents courage in the face of uncertainty and the ability to make rapid decisions to shape one’s fate. The Anthropes, as his descendants, are known for their ambition and willingness to act, even in the face of incomplete information. Sovren teaches that the path forward is made through bold choices and that even imperfect decisions can lead to greatness if they are pursued with determination.
Anthropes have dominated most of Fadral, though their Motherland remains Adrana.

Celestials are generally descendants of Lunira, Goddess of Nature and Balance. They are tall, slender humanoids who exude elegance. They usually wear their hair long and braided and adorn themselves with jewelry. They have pointed ears and generally live up to 500 to 800 years. Most Celestials are still very attuned to their magical origins and suffer most of all races in getting their Magic clipped.
The patron God of the Celestials is Lunira, Goddess of Nature, Beauty, and Balance. Her domains include Moonlight, Seasons and Harmony.
Lunira, the Radiant Mother, embodies the beauty and balance of nature, guiding the Celestials in their pursuit of unity with the world around them. As a goddess of seasons and natural harmony, she encourages reflection, artistry, and patience. The Celestials honor her through their love of nature and art, understanding that harmony requires both light and shadow.
The Celestials are a waning race, due to the oppression of their Magic and, in extension, their culture. Their Motherland is Lirithal, which in current days is mostly overtaken by Anthropes.

The Little Folk are generally descendants of Kaelen, Goddess of Community and Joy. They are a race that still live mostly in seclusion, unbothered by the Anthropes' reign, as long as they leave them alone. They are not happy about the clipping of their Magic, but are mostly content just living their lives in their secluded communities. Little Folk are, as the name might suggest, small humanoids. Some of them have pointed ears, some of them do not. Some of them have bigger hands and feet, some of them do not. Their appearance varies from community to community. They tend to live to about 250-300.
The patron God of the Little Folk is Kaelen, Goddess of Hearth, Community, and Celebration. Her domains include fellowship, harvest and prosperity. Kaelen, the Kindhearted, is the god of community and joy, representing the warmth of fellowship and shared moments. His influence encourages the Little Folk to live for family, friends, and simple joys. Festivals, feasts, and harvest celebrations are dedicated to him, and he is seen as the protector of all who gather in peace and good cheer.
The Little Folk originate from Kaelmoor, which is now also ruled by Adrana's monarchy. Their communities are found all over Fadral and usually govern themselves.

Primordials are generally descendants of Umbrith, God of Mystery and Strength. They are elegant-looking humanoids with a variety of different features. Some have skin-colours that scale the entire range of the rainbow, others have more human-looking skin. Some of them have pointy ears, while others have whispy or rounded ones. Most of them have horns protruding from their forehead, or elsewhere on their body, and some of them have tails and sometimes even bat-like wings. Alongside their Magic, sometimes even part of their external features are clipped. Primordials tend to live to the age of 80-100.
The patron God of the Primordials is Umbrith, God of Darkness, Mystery, and Inner Strength. His domains include secrets, transformation and resilience. Umbrith, the Shadowed Sage, is the god of transformation and the hidden realms within and beyond. He inspires the Primordials to look inward, find strength in adversity, and seek understanding in life’s mysteries. Known for his quiet yet fierce wisdom, Umbrith is a figure of both protection and revelation, guiding his followers through shadowed paths toward self-discovery.
Just like the Celestials, Primordials have become rarer and rarer each century. They are often hunted and enslaved because of their exotic features and are generally shunned by other people due to their oftentimes sinister impressions. Their Motherland is Umberveil, which has been completely colonised by Adrana.

Elementals are generally descendants of Aetheris, God of Elements and Change. They are humanoids that take after the one of the four elements. Because of this, their physical traits widely vary. Some may have 'normal' skintones, while others might have skin that is as shiny and hard as that of emeralds or other precious stones, or the colour of the sea, or some are even almost see-through. Some have fire blazing through their veins or in their eyes, some look as though a wind is permanently blowing through their hair. Some have pointed ears, others have ears that resemble the features of sea creatures. Others, still, have rounded ears and look almost like Anthropes. They live to about 120-150 years of age.
The patron God of the Elementals is Aetheris, God of Elements, Creation, and Destruction. His domains include earth, fire, air, water and raw potential. Aetheris, the Elemental Force, embodies the primal energies of the world. He represents creation and destruction, showing his followers the power within the forces of nature. The Elementals honor him as both a wild and guiding spirit, understanding that creation often demands both chaos and order. Aetheris teaches them to harness their elemental nature as a source of strength and transformation.
Elementals have proved hard to catch. They are nomads, roaming the Earth freely, making it hard for Anthropes to clip their Magic. They usually gather a lot of attention when showing themselves in company of other races. The Elementals are probably some of the most defiant races on all the Earth, posing a threat to Adrana - if they weren't as scattered as they are. Should they unite, they could very well overthrow the current regime.
The Motherland of the Elementals is Aethirra, though they don't often venture their anymore, since that is where they are most actively looked for. Instead, they roam all across the world, being guided by their spirit and the elements.
