“So you’re still coming tonight right?” Amy asked Zoë after their last class. “Yeah, of course. I said I would didn’t I?” “Don’t know. It’s just, you are so distracted today and I thought you may not remembered agreeing to it.” “Yes, I’m a bit distracted but that does not mean I have memory loss.” Zoë said. “Okay, so I will pick you up at seven?” Amy asked. “Yeah that’s fine.” Zoë said and hugged Amy goodbye.

“Dad! I’m home” Zoë yelled. “Hey sweetie. How was your day?” her dad asked from upstairs. “Fine, bit boring” Zoë replied while walking towards the investigation room, because she knew that’s where he was. “That’s good sweetie.” “Dad? What’s with the sweetie?” Zoë asked. “Well I can’t call you ZoZo anymore so I thought of a different nickname. You like it?” “Ehm wel dad, here is a weird idea. What about calling me Zoë?” Zoë suggested. “What’s the fun of that?” her dad asked her with a chuckle. Zoë smiled at him and sat down on the couch. “How long have you been in this room dad?” “Only four hours or so” he looked at Zoë “Don’t worry Zoë I’ve been out of the house today. I did some grocery shopping and I went for a run.” Zoë smiled at her dad. “That’s great dad. I’m proud of you.” “Thanks Zoë. I’m making spaghetti for diner, would you like to help?” Zoë’s face lit up. It have been a long time since her and her dad cooked a meal together. “Yes dad. I would love to help.” “Okay, go do your homework now. I will call you when I’m ready.” “Okay” Zoë said and kissed her dad on the cheek. Zoë walked to her room and began on her homework. When she got to her English homework she couldn’t help but thinking of those green eyes.
