Well, I'm Belgian and they don't really perform musicals like that often. I think that the last time Les Miserables was here, it was about 1997, and I'm from 1999. xd
1 decennium geledenAnyway, I've never been to England either, but my mom and I are planning on going to London some time and she promised me we'd go see Les Mis.
I was kinda hoping for it to play in America, but I suppose Americans don't really like that stuff. My aunt said Les Mis (the movie) was miserable. I love her, but I wanted to punch her in the face when she said that. ><
And sure, we could've rent a dvd or something, but I think you should see a musical as a musical in real life, not as a musical on a screen. :')
The movie Les Mis is different, cause it's an actual movie meant to be a movie, if you get what I mean. :')Anyway, I think it's really cool that you're on Quizlet, but how did you discover it, since it's Dutch? :'D

1 decennium geledenWell, I have the luck my parents decided to learn me English when I was 7. I was lazy, very very lazy, so I didn't really paid attention but it sure was helpful. If I wanted to, I could sleep during the lessons in my first year on pre-university education :')
And I think it is really cute that you want to learn our strange language for her
Though Russian is a weird language, I love when Russians speak it. Or a Russian speaking English, that accent is really funny

1 decennium geledenHaha, my English isn't that great either. If I try to speak English the words are correct, but my accent gets so weird that I have no idea what accent it is, and people give me strange looks, haha. Writing is a bit better and I'm actually pretty good in reading and listening.
Dutch is really hard to study if you're not born in the Netherlands. I'm studying Russian, and I really want to give up cause it is so hard. If I may ask, why do you want to learn Dutch?
