mijn 2e songtekst, geschreven in een van de vele nachten waarin ik niet kon slapen.

a girl was looking at the moon
the stars were shining bright
and every day she seems okay
but no one knows
she cries at night

how harder she tries to get free of her life
how faster she will sink
now she doesn’t know what to do
cause she isn’t the one that they think
Couplet 2:
the girl that was looking at the moon
is now sitting on her bed
she’s writing a song and thinking
of memories she wants to forget
she’s trying so hard to forget all those things
but they’re still rising up in her head
and while she sits there she figures out
she will never be able
to forget

this pore girl tries to be perfect
and I’m telling you a fact
what she’s doing no one notice
she never gets any respect
she’s always feeling lonely
and the world is just unfair
cause she’s a good girl and she’s trying so hard
but still
she got no one to care
