To my grandma and one of my best friends, may the both of you rest in peace. < 3

It's such a weird feeling not to have you here,
Especially during Christmas this year.
No messages or kind words from you,
I don't even know what you're up to.

It might be weird from me to say something like that,
Since you passed away,
Even though we all wanted you to stay.

Christmas time isn't the same without you here,
But it still feels like you are near.
That thought gives me hope and it makes me glad,
Even though you, not being here, makes me extremely sad.

I hope you're having a good day up there,
We are lighting up a candle for you, that much seems fair.
You will always be a part of us, so we won't forget about you.
Are you able to see us? I don't have a clue.

I wish you could, so you could see how much we love you.
I also hope my message is coming through.
