Life is like chess.
We are all king.
Besides us is our trusted queen.
The one we love the most.
And the one we can depend on.
Our flanks are guarded by our Bishops.
The ones that will charge in for us.
And will go very far to make us happy.
Our knights stand proud beside their brothers.
Ready to strike at those that harm us.
And to offer us gentle protection.
Our rooks take the outermost position.
But we should not forget.
They are the pillars of our life.
Our support in hard times.
Lastly the peons dominate the front-line.
They are our everyday people.
The ones we see and talk to.
Those friends we know a little bit.
And are still there for us.
