Your first steps upon the floor.
You learn you first moves, after that you look to others to learn more.
You copy all the moves that you see by all the people you've ever known.
You keep on dancing, until your dance becomes your own.
You dance with the people whom you hold dear.
You dance to forget about your pain, sorrow and fear.
Don't stand at the side line until someone picks you out for a dance.
Go out there and give yourself a better chance.
I learn my moves, I learn my style.
I start to dance really good after a while.
I might fall one time or two.
But i know I will be get up, with some help from you.
There is one thing that life has always shown.
Life is a dance and you never dance alone.
I could dance with you while the sun is shining or when the rain pours from the skies.
I don't care how life treats us, I know that how we dance together can't be based on lies.
Someone may leave and let me feel like I am on my own.
But I know that I didn't dance alone.
