Magnificent destruction
An enormous interruption
The shadows dance on the wall
As the fire consumes it all

You had the fuel to feed them,
The great dragons of the light
You had granted a seat for them,
The dark demons of the night

While full devastation continues its way in your head
I stare into the fireplace, the familiar flames, instead.
Their games are endless, harmless and remarkable stories
That tell me hidden secrets and moments of glory.

Warmth and beauty against powerful demolition
Two sides of the same coin, I tossed for distraction.
But a fire keeps burning, one way or another
It will always be ones opponent and the others dearest brother.
