Tired of walking

A solitary man walks a road that winds
With traps around every bend
Not worrying about what he finds
Happy every second he’s able to spend

He meets a woman who crosses his path
And their roads merge into one
He promises to stay with her until his dying breath
Together they now run

For time flies as they’re together
Every step is great
The bends in their road do not matter
They follow the road of fate

But the end comes near
For one road has a sudden stop
And one looses all that is dear
His road makes a sudden drop

A man walks a road that winds
He walked this road before
He never wonders what he finds
For his feet are already sore
