Prologue

It's hard to love again when your heart is broken. You're trying to make it work, but there is always that terrifying feeling that's holding you back. Maybe it's all in your head and you're making yourself scared of really liking someone. But I think that this is real, because when you really like a guy and he seems to be perfect, but still you have that feeling inside that's something is missing, something is not right. It's hard to explain yourself because you don't want everyone to know that you're weak. You don't want to show your weakness because you have always been the stronger one. You don't want everyone to know you're still hurt. How hard it is to have let the one go, who you loved most in the world because he died. That when someone comes to close, you push him away before you get to attached and end up with again, a broken heart. Love is a precious thing and it's worth a lot, but to surrender your heart to love again after it had been broken before is not something you do very easily. So sorry if I act so uptight around you, it's just that I'm scared because i don't want to lose you like i lost him.
