-1- Annoyed (D)

‘No… Don’t run away… I’m so hungry…’ I slowly open my eyes, annoyed at the cause of my disturbed nap.
‘Athar, shut up! I’m trying to sleep here!’ Athar just keeps mumbling in his sleep.
‘I don’t have another choice, I guess…’ I pick up a medium sized rock laying beside me and throw it at him. It hits him right on his forehead.
‘Wha- What?! What happened?!’ He looks around and sees me, grinning. ‘You… You…’
‘I what?’
‘You threw that stone, right?!’
‘Maybe I did… Or maybe I didn’t…’ I try to look innocent. It probably doesn’t work.
‘Why did you even throw it? I was just having a nice dream!’ I can see Athar’s grey hair getting longer, spreading to his neck.
‘Because I could enjoy your dream with you, just like everyone else! Did nobody ever tell you that you talk in your sleep? A lot?’ It probably looks like I am mad to people that don’t know me, but Athar, who I have know all my life, knows I’m almost dying from laughter inside.
‘You think this is funny, don’t you?’ Now his teeth are getting longer and sharper.
‘You know I think this is funny!’ I can’t stop myself any longer, and the laughter that was building up inside bursts out of me. The rest of the pack, who were snoring the rest of the time, all wake up. It is one big chaos.
‘What’s happening?!’
‘Huh…’
‘What is that annoying sound…?’
‘Waaaaaaaah!!’
Everyone is shouting and screaming. But then one voice roars above the rest of them, making them sound really small and fragile.
‘Dawn, Athar, what do you think you are doing? This is the third time this week you two woke us up because of your stupid quarrels!’ Letas, the Alpha, looks kinda mad.
‘It’s not my fault! It was-‘ Athar and I say it at exactly the same time, but Letas interrupts us.
‘You can say whatever you want, probably it was both of you. So, now that everyone is awake anyway, you can go get something to eat. For the whole pack.’ Then he turns around and walks away.
‘Well, let’s go hunting.’ I sigh.
