I - Chapter one

I knew, since I was born, that I was strong and tough. I was born during the coldest winter the kingdom had ever known. I was named after that winter.

I shall try to explain my family, because it makes clear what my situation is. My father and mother are King Leopold and Queen Eva. My mother died when I was very young of a mysterious disease. My father searched for a new queen, but it was almost hopeless. Almost.

One day, my horse took off and I could barely stay on. It was very dangerous and I could've been killed. But I didn't. I was rescued by a lovely woman. When my father heard of it, he purposed to this woman, so she became my stepmother and the new queen. We were a lovely family, but that didn't take long. I told, accidentaly of course, a secret to my stepmother's mother. And that was the beginning of this horrible life. Regina, my stepmother, didn't forgive me and wanted revenge. Revenge that I would not give her. Regina killed my father, so she could kill me after that. But I was lucky to escape. I was living inthe woods ever since. It didn't even know why she hated me that much. But I do now. And now? I do whatever it takes to survive. I hope that I can take back the kingdom someday, but I can't do it on my one.

I never fell in love and I didn't need it. I was fine on my own and Red brouht me supplies, so why did I need a man? In the end I realised why, but I won't tell it now.
