Chapter I: Old feelings return

It has been two years since Tomoe and Nanami have been married...it was a torment for Mizuki, since he hated the white fox for as long as he knew him.
The more time had passed, the more he hated him. With Tomoe there was no difference either. But they forced themselves to stay calm for Nanami, the girl they both serve and protect. The heroën girl had now grown into a fine young woman and looked even more beautiful than before.
She was aware of the hatred of both yokai and as always, she tried to keep peace in the shrine.

One day Mizuki had enough of holding himself back and ran off. It was either killing Tomoe and upsetting Nanami, or that. The young snake was lost...into the city of Tokyo...
