Chapter 2. Reunion?
Brandon Mayhew. Why is he at my house? Brandon Mayhew...Out of all people.. ''Brandon. Badger. What are you - What are you doing here?'' I called out to him. He spun around and smiled when he saw me. ''Sarah! Hi.''
''What are you doing here?'' I repeated. ''Jess..''
''No, no, no. no, Badge. You know how I feel about Jess - him.''
''Yeah, but come on, Sarah, it's been.'' Then he realized he was yelling so he lowered down his voice. ''Five years.''
''Five years already? Damn'' I exclaimed sarcastically. ''sarah.'' Badger trailed off. ''Can we go inside?'' he asked, nodding over towards my house, I followed his gaze. ''Oh, yeah sure.''
We walked into my house after I unlocked it. There was alot of mess. Stuff laying around everywhere. I never expected someone to come visit me. So I also never thought about cleaning up. The mess wasn't bothering me.
''What exactly does Jesse want from me?'' Badger softly sighs. ''Well, actually he just want...you.''
''Why?'' I exclaimed a bit louder then I thought. ''After all these years, I come to visit my parents, we happen to see eachother, and he finally decides that he wants me again?'' Badger nods/ ''Exactly. See you understand.''
''Fine.'' I said, walking back out of my house with a smirking Badger.
- Jesse Pinkman's house -
Badger parked his car across the street from Jesse's aunt house. From what I heard she gave in to cancer. She was a good person. She could be Jesse his mother. I exhaled slowly as I exited the car and closed the passengers door. Standing eye-to-eye with Jesse's house. Jesse. Huh. I was actually going to speak to him. After all these years...All those tears, screams, sobs, hugs, kisses. All for nothing.
''Sarah, you don't have to do this'' Badger suddenly spoke to me. he appeared right next to me. ''I got this Badge.''
Badger and I were wearing the same matching beanie I suddenly discovered. We walked up to Jesse's front door but before we could even knock, the door flew open and there he was. Jesse Pinkman. He wore a navy crew neck sweater with blue jeans. He nodded at Badger but just glanced at me. ''Sarah.'' Was all he said. I smiled awkwardly at him. ''Hey, Jesse.''
''C - Come in.'' I walked inside with Jesse and Badger trailing behind me. My eyes wandered around. It looked the same. Jesse and I spent alot of time here when we were together.
''Do you like..want anything?'' Jesse asked, looking at the both of us. ''Nah, thanks, I'm good.'' Jesse nodded a little.
''So, like, I'm gonna go now.'' Badger started.
''Wait! Badger, what the hell, yo. How am I going to get home?''
''I'll take you home.'' Ofcourse Jesse would speak up. ''Badge, I'm not sure if I'm co..''
''See, all is fine. I'll see you around.'' badger said as he then flew out of the door. ''Fuck.'' I mutted softly to myself. ''I'll just walk home.'' Jesse didn't reply to me. he walked towards the door to close it after Badger had left. Then we just sort of stared at eachother.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't missed him. Everything about him was perfect to me. Eventhough he could be an asshole. he was flawless to me.
''I'm going to change into something more comfortable. I just came home from...work.'' he said a little nervous and scurried off.
As he was changing in his room I turned around and sat down on the couch on my spot. Whoa did I just call it my spot? The tv was still on. it showed the pause screen of 'Call of Duty, Black Ops.' I was tempted. I looked into the direction of his room and decided to just start playing. A couple minutes later when I died I suddenly heard a voice beside me. ''You did really good.'' I didn't expected this and pointed the controller to him. ''What you're going to shoot me with the controller?'' I sighed, I was way into the game that I didn't noticed him sitting down next to me. I stood up immediatley. ''Come sit back down.''
I sat in my sp - on the couch, but a little further from Jesse.
Usually, I had been sitting too close but we're not together anymore. Jesse noticed I wasn't sitting close to him so he moved himself some closer. ''How'v you be -''
I cut him off. ''Are you, like, trying to get in my pants or some shit, Jesse? Because you know me. That's not gonna work out the way you want it to.
he was sort of take aback. ''What? No.''
''Don't lie to me, Jesse.'' I told him, glaring. ''Okay, when I saw you back at our old houses, I was like, 'Damn, yo, she looks fine.' because, well, you do. You always have. And that's why I asked Badge to bring you over. Then when I saw you again, I changed my mind. I don't want to just bang you, then leave you. I want you back, kind off.''
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. ''What?''
''Do you want me to, like, repeat it or-..'' ''No, Jesse.''
''Okay, then do you-''
''No, Jesse, my answer is no. You can't have me back.''
''What are you doing here?'' I repeated. ''Jess..''
''No, no, no. no, Badge. You know how I feel about Jess - him.''
