Prologue.
''What about you, sweetie? You got a boyfriend we don't know about?'' my mom asked, smirking playfully at me. We were having some sort of family dinner.
I stared at her. ''Me?'' I replied. ''No. No boyfriend.'' My das shook his head. ''That's a bummer. These boys are missing out.''
''Hey, what about that boy you dated in highschool?'' My mom asked. Shit I thought to myself. I glared at her. ''I..I- what are you talking about?''
''That cute boy! Kind of taller than you. Blonde-ish. Blue eyes.''
''Oh!'' My sister announced. ''Jesse Pinkman''
I bit on my lowerlip. ''Oh, what about..'' I sighed quietly just by thinking about him ''..Jesse.''
''Why don't you date him again? I liked him.'' ''Yeah, he was a good kid.'' My dad agreed. I also glared up at him.
''No. No. I haven't spoken to him...In a while.'' I adverted my eyes for a couple seconds while my parents and sister were all continueing how I should call him up again and get back together with him. Eventually I slammed my fork down.
''Call him, his parents live right next door.''
''He doesn't live there anymore okay? Just.. leave me alone about Jesse.''
''Okay.'' My mom replied, sounding as if she did something wrong. Which she did in my eyes.
I got up. ''Thank you for..all of this.''
''Sure, sure, you're welcome any time.'' My mom replied. I nodded back at her as I left their house.
As I stepped out onto the front porch, I breathed in some fresh air. I looked to the left- the Pinkman residence. It looked just the same as how it looked the day I walked out of the frontdoor with a screaming Jesse trailing behind me. I scoffed, Jesse. My mind hasn't dared to think about that selfish bastard in three years since I left him. The remaining two years were spent mourning over our split; the worst two years of my life.
Stepping off the porch, I saw a cab stopping infront of the Pinkman's house. I then saw Jake Pinkman, Jesse's younger brother. Talking to some guy that looks like a junkie.
''What the fuck'' I spoke to myself. ''Hey Jake!'' I walked closer to him. Once I got close enough, I said; ''Jake, you good?''
''sarah, hey.'' He greeted, looking at the ground. ''What- What are you doing?'' I asked, looking up at the junkie. I looked at the junkie and saw those beautiful blue eyes I fell for seven years ago. ''J - Jess..'' I didn't even finish saying his name. Right when I reconized him, I bolted for my car and drove off. I left, and once again, a screaming Jesse trailed behind me.
