Prologue

Leah Marie Robbins is just a regular 17 year old girl. She goes to school, works and hangs out with her friends. Even though everything seems fine now, she has had a tough past. A mother who never loved her and a father she didn’t know. Her mother hit her everyday and blamed her for the fact that her father left. Since the day her best friend Luke found out that her mother hit her he had been very protective. One day he decided that she was beaten up enough and practically forced her to move in with him and his family. Her mother didn’t care and never came after her. It did hurt Leah that her mother never came looking for her but she knew that it was better. If she hadn’t left that house she would probably be dead by now. Thanks to Luke she has other friends now and a better life. She even had a crush on someone from Luke’s band. His name was Calum and he played the bass. She knew every little fact about him. Luke knew she had a crush on Calum and promised to help her set up a date. But what if Luke finds out that he actually has feelings for Leah? Will he still help her get with Calum?
