‘Ella, can I ask you a question?’ Het is de release party van One Direction’s nieuwe cd Take Me Home en natuurlijk steun ik ze vandaag. Momenteel treden ze op en een journalist is naast me komen staan.
‘Shoot’, lach ik terwijl ik van het optreden geniet.
‘What do you think of their new album?’
‘It’s awesome. Beautiful songs and melodies… Yeah, I like it.’
‘Did you often listen to Up All Night, their first album?’
‘Yes, I have one at home and I love listen to it. I will but Take Me Home as well.’
‘And is it because your boyfriend is in the band or do you just like it?’
‘Well, I think both. I’ve never known One Direction without Liam as my boyfriend. I started listening to them because of Liam. But I think I would be a directioner too if he wasn’t my boyfriend’
‘Okay, thank you very much for your time’
‘It’s no problem’, ik geef hem een hand en ga op zoek naar bekenden
‘Ella! How are you?’ vraagt Perrie als ze me met een knuffel verrast
‘Very good, thanks and you?’
‘Good. It’s amazing, isn’t it?’ vraagt ze als ze om zich heen kijkt.
‘It is’, zeg ik bevestigend.
‘Ella. I’ve got a surprise for you. You like Little Mix, don’t you?’ Ik knik. ‘We give a concert tomorrow night and here are two tickets and two backstage passes.’
‘No way’, zeg ik ongelovig. Perrie knikt
‘Front row’, zegt ze er nog achter ik overstelp haar met knuffels en ‘Thank you’.
‘You can choose who you bring with you.’
‘There will be many directioners, won’t there’, vraag ik onzeker.
‘I wouldn’t take Liam. That would be a problem.’
‘I’ll see. Maybe Eleanor, Elouise or Molly. Or my dad.’
‘You’ll see. The girls can’t wait to meet you, after all I told about you.’
‘I’m going to meet them?’ Perrie knikt. ‘O my god!!! I’m freaking like I’m a big fan!’
