i'm wearing a mask,
it's not for the sake of fun
i need to survive these days,
nowhere to hide or run.

now that there is nowhere to go,
my mask got ripped off my face,
the ugly truth is revealed
the emptiness in my gaze

everyone is scared,
now that they've seen the real me.
But it was their own fault
this is what I'm meant to be:

a wreckage of lies and such
no friends or family for support.
I need to make a new mask,
is what I'm thinking when i pull the cord.

it is again dug into to my face
showing what i want you to believe
almost no one can see through them
only when i allow you the truth to recieve.
