Heavy thoughts breaking out of my head
Thoughts of hate and so much regret
I can’t seem to control what I feel
And thus my broken heart won’t heal

I’ve been hurt in too many ways
I’ve been abused for too many days
They called me fat and also skinny
They enjoyed themselves by hurting me

For such a long time, year after year
There were many things I had to fear
What would they do next: Stomp and kick me?
Or would they finally let me be?
