SONNET II – I don’t want perfect love

I want raging fights, ones that have us almost break up
I want kisses in the rain, cuddling during stormy nights
I want to read you my poetry and make you aware that they are all about you;
the good ones and the bad, in the semi-light
I want to make your toes curl with lust when we make up

I never want our playful sides to die, not even when we’re old and grey
I don’t want someone who makes me feel like it’s alright
I don’t just want to be your shining armour knight
I want to cross the world with you and have fun;
be nervous whilst doing it, never having to pray.

Make me feel like I’m drowning and living all at once;
show me the city lights late at night
Let our lips collide, rip my heart to pieces
take me down right now or give me everything at once;
my princess of ice

Tell me you hate me, tell me you love me, give me a thousand reasons
why. I want someone who makes me realize what’s living worth;
I want someone who makes me feel like I’m gambling, like rolling a dice
Don’t you long for living just like I do, baby;
this is my love thesis
