So Ganon turned to Link and said:

You may fight, but we both know
I can kill you and set you free
Hands clasped on sword, down on one knee
Link gazed up and whispered: 'No'

I will fight you, no matter the cost
And block you from your desire
I cannot lose nor may I falter
My mission, be it so dire

Why do you resist me?
Why can you not agree?
Because Ganon, my old dear foe,
If I live, so may she
