Rain room

Meanwhile a 19 year old student was heading towards the central station to return home. The pillars streched out above her head. There were giant stairs and inbetween clock. Everything was designed to into detail. Small bays held tiny statues that wachted over the hall. The people, the marble floor. Both wettened by rain.
Those statues watched, as if they always watched the changing people. Only the building had last centuries. The statues stoot frozen as people would always see them. But they hadn´t been there that long.
The student, named May, stopped by and stared. She knew it. Then she blinked, tried to sweap the image away. But it was not an illusion. They really were there.
´Strange´, May whispered. She shook her head and walked towards the ticket window. When she bought whatever she needed there was still some time left. So she decided to take a closer look. Centainly, the new statues were well build. Lots of attention was spend on the details of the angelic faces. Moreover, it looked as if the statues could come to life every second. At least, it would have been if you forget the colors.
Suddenly the clock shouted seven o'clock. Whitin five minutes the train would leave.
May picked up her bag. Too late she saw the face of the angel again. The modern world she knew disappeared.
Back in my room. While I was preparing the bread, my dear friend decided that it was okay to steel my candy. Worse, she didn´t mind taking my chocolat.
'Noooo!', I shouted when she took the last two bars. She ran towards the bathroom. I tried to open the door but it was locked.
As I was knocking (read bounching), on the door neither of us noticed the Doctor. We didn't hear anything strange until I turned arround to ask my new dad for help. Katie did say something about a screwdriver openenig locks once.
But the TARDIS was disappearing. Flashing visible and invisible. 'What is going on?', I whispered. Immediatly the bathroomdoor opened.
'He's leaving!', Katie shouted.
'No, no, he can not just leave us here. I saved him, I saved all of us. He could at least wait for the bread and eat with us'
Carefully she picked her awnser. Usually she would say "Well... your cooking skills aren't that great" but she remained silent for a second. Until she ran towards the TARDIS. Screaming she attempted to prevent the phonebox from vanishing. Too late, it was gone. Forever.
All that was left was a small piece of paper on the ground. The letters were quickly written, appearently he didn't had time to lift his pen.
Dear Indy and Katie,
This was not the way I wanted to say goodbye. I hate goodbye.
But it is the best for you. My dear daughter. There is a reason why I couldn't return to your mother. It was too dangerous for you. It still is too dangerous. Everyone I travelled with I've lost. Some even died.
I-gotta go
'He left us!'
Disappointed I sank to the ground. 'We still had to travel. He should take us there, a land of myth'
'In a time of magic', Katie added.
'Now he's gone. Like my other father. But this one had a choice!'
It remained silent. I continued my monologue. 'I can take care of myself. I'm stronger than I look. And I can outsmarten most people'
Something moved in the corner of my eye.
'There is no excuse. He should have given me the opportunity. But he just left'
Katie stepped back from the window.
'I don't think that is your biggest problem right now', she whispered.
For one moment I thought she wanted to say my bread was burning. She didn't. She did only stare.
'How are we getting ourselfs out of this place?'
'What?', I asked too quickly. Because all sudden it became clear.
We did not escape the angels. We got ourselfs in something worse. This time we had no TARDIS, no Doctor, only eachother. Facing the angels that were just across the street.
